Founded in 1992 in Silicon Valley, The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) was established by a group of successful entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and senior professionals with roots in the Indus region. Since its founding, TiE has grown into a global network dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship and supporting the next generation of business leaders.
Mission
TiE’s mission is to foster entrepreneurship through mentoring, networking, education, funding, and incubation. With a strong commitment to giving back to the community, TiE works to inspire, support, and nurture the next generation of entrepreneurs by providing the resources, guidance, and connections they need to succeed.

By supporting and empowering entrepreneurs, TiE seeks to help individuals turn ideas into successful businesses while creating opportunities for innovation, growth, and economic advancement. We believe that when entrepreneurs have access to the right resources, guidance, and connections, they can build thriving businesses that create jobs, generate wealth, and strengthen the communities in which they operate.
TiE Philadelphia conducts around 50 to 60 events a year across multiple topics. We partner with several other industry and entrepreneurship organizations to promote local innovation and entrepreneurship.
