TiE Young Entrepreneurs

What is TYE?

TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) is a focused program for High Schoolers to learn Entrepreneurship, Invention, & Innovation by doing, rather than talking.

TYE students build startups from their own ideas using modern techniques, guided by mentors, leading up to an entrepreneurship competition for a chance at prizes.

TYE Program Overview

  • Experiential Learning Program (4-5 months) – Students work in teams to build a startup from an idea of their choosing using Lean Canvas, Design Thinking, Rapid Protyping and more. In-school or extra-curricular. We provide materials and light refreshments for each session.
  • Local Competition (half day) – Students present their startup and product to a panel of investors and entrepreneurs. One team is selected to compete at the TYE Global Competition.
  • Global Competition (2 days) – Student teams from 20+ TYE Chapters compete for $10k in prizes.
